On October 4, 2020, AGBU Sofia Sunday School "HayLer " opened the 2020-2021 classes focused on studying the Armenian language and culture.

The opening took place in the office of Parekordzagan Sofia, where Mr. Velizar Agopyan, Chairman of AGBU Sofia Parekordzagan welcomed the parents, children and explained what is the expected plan until the end of Sunday school. Teachers Nina Andryan, Armine Manukyan and Anush Kirakosyan, with a lot of love, took care for the good mood and the delicious treatment of everyone.

We had the pleasure to welcome the special guests of the opening Mr. Armen Edigaryan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Bulgaria,  and his wife, Mrs. Satenik Zirekyants, Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Artur Gevorgyan, Counselor at the Armenian Embassy in the Republic of Bulgaria and his wife.

Mr. Edigaryan greeted everyone and because of the sad events in Artsakh, shared more about the injustice that is happening there. Then, as a sign of support for Armenia and Artsakh, everyone was photographed with the caption "I am Artsakh."

The children greeted all of the geusts with the “Hay Mer” prayer. They also performed two poems and a song.

For her part, Mrs. Sonia Avakyan-Bedrosian /Honorary Chairperson of AGBU Sofia "Parekordzagan"/ wished everyone much success, curiosity and faith.

At the end of the reception, Mr. Velizar Agopyan cut the delicious cake, which was beautifully decorated with the Armenian flag and the inscription "HayLer".

Thank you all! Good luck, dear children!
