In October, the new school year 2020-2021 started at AGBU Sofia HayLer Sunday School .

At the beginning of this school year, one of the main topics was the war in Artsakh . The teachers introduced the children to various facts from the history of Artsakh . The children drew and colored various pictures with soldiers, in support of the heroes in Artsakh.

On November 29, the of AGBU SOFIA CHAMBER ORCHESTRA friends had opportunity to enjoy the next online event of the ensemble. The concert consisted entirely of songs in hard rock and met- al music style. This time, the Armenian culture and spirit were strongly felt during in the event. That contribution was made by the conductor Levon Manukyan, who performed arrangements of System of a Down songs. System of a Down is a metal band – formed in 1994 in Los Angeles by four Armenians living in the United States. These are Serge Tankian, Darren Malakyan, John Dolmayan and Shavo Odadzhiyan.

In the situation of the complicated health environment, the conductor Levon Manukyan and the management of AGBU Sofia found a way to perform the concerts planned for the end of the year. Namely - without physical audience, keeping all safety measures so that the fans of the orchestra can enjoy the music online.

On October 18, AGBU Sofia Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Levon Manukyan, delighted their audience with another concert, part of the autumn cycle. This time the orchestra 's performance was committed to a cause-support for the Armenians, victims of the military conflict in Artsakh / Nagorno-Karabakh /, and all voluntarily raised funds will be donated for help and empathy in this terrible war. The program that the conductor had chosen was characterized by emphasized expressiveness and strong emotional charge. It also contained works by the Armenian composers Glazunov and Piazzolla, which sounded in harmony with the key message of the concert.

Traditionally for several years now, Armenia and Bulgaria have been celebrating their Independence Day (September 21 and 22 respectively) with a festive concert, conducted by the AGBU Chamber Orchestra Sofia. The host of the music event this year was the beautiful hall at 5 Oborishte Street. The honorary patron of the orchestra - His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia was among the guests tonight. Ambassador Edigaryan opened the concert with a short speech, emphasizing on the role of AGBU Sofia in promoting and developing Armenian traditions and cultural achievements. In sync with the friendly relations between the two peoples was the presence of the soloists - Donka Angucheva / Bulgaria / and Nare Argamanyan / Armenia /.

On September 13, the long-awaited concert of the AGBU Chamber Orchestra Sofia finally took place, postponed twice for objective reasons related to the complicated COVID-19 and the political situation.

After a long pause, the orchestra, conducted by Levon Manukyan, appeared in a completely different, new vision. For the first time it was outside the traditional concert hall, as the venue of the event was chosen Largo of the Ancient Cultural and Communication Complex "Serdika. The program was very different and not the typical one - composed entirely of arrangements of famous songs of cult rock and metal bands - Led Zeppelin , Nirvana, Metallica, Aerosmith and others.

At the end of this difficult and tense year for the world, AGBU Sofia Chamber Orchestra managed to realize its last music project for this season. With this, in fact, the orchestra, its conductor Levon Manukyan and the organizing team delivered their Christmas present to the audience with a very clear message - the power of youth and talent can overcome even the most difficult trials in people's lives. The idea of this online concert was to connect the soloists by means of modern technologies.
